Alex Kong, owner of Seattle’s newest food truck ‘Mangia Me,’ has been cooking for as long as he can remember. Having grown up around Italian food while working in his parent’s restaurant ‘Perche’ No,’ Alex has mastered every aspect of the culinary industry, from being in the front of house to the back of the kitchen, Alex apprenticed under his father, classically-trained chef David Kong, learning to craft fresh handmade pastas and sauces from scratch, while building a solid base of culinary skills.
A seasoned traveler, Alex has been around the world, each new place making for new adventures, traditions, cultures, and above all; lasting culinary experiences.
Food has always played a major role in Alex’s life; bringing those he loves together, providing a foundation for his family and an outlet for his creativity and culinary passion. ‘Mangia Me’s’ main focus is to deliver affordable, healthy and outstanding Italian food made fresh everyday with love.
